An Interview with Davut Karaçak, Chairman of LODA Furniture, on the Brand's Design Language and Innovations.
Can you describe Loda Furniture's perspective on design and style?
Consumers do not limit their expectations from furniture to just its functions. They see furniture as a tool to reflect their lifestyle and worldview. We design products that make consumers feel happy. Our collections, produced by following global design trends, exemplify the concept of "concept furniture." We reflect the excitement created by the combination of new materials, new lines, and new perspectives in our designs.
What colors and patterns will we see predominantly in the new season?
The color palettes and patterns that emerge in furniture and decoration vary with the seasons, catering to individuals' needs. Warm and vibrant colors such as yellow, green, and orange will be prominent this season.
Which rising trends are you incorporating into your collections?
Simple, modern, and functional living spaces, especially loft apartments, have recently become a trend in luxury apartment choices. Typically found in penthouses, these spaces stand out with their mezzanines, minimal wall space, and maximum daylight utilization. We are focusing on Scandinavian-style models for lofts, which have been gaining popularity in our country as well.
What materials do you prefer in your designed products?
Loda’s product range includes dining rooms, bedrooms, armchairs, sofas, TV units, lighting, and complementary home decor models. In our collections, you will often find leather-upholstered products and solid wood, particularly walnut. By using natural finishes and colors, we create a rustic effect in living spaces with these furnishings.
